| Anthony Peake - Is There Life After Death?. Can there ever be a rationally satisfying and scientifically based explanation as to what happens to consciousness at the point of death? Anthony Peake believes that there can be and that his explanation in no way invalidates long held religious beliefs about life after death. The way in which we "Cheat The Ferryman" as he like to term his theory, lies deep within the structures of the brain itself - an area where thought itself touches upon the very building blocks of reality. | Professor Michael E. Jones - The End of Roman Britain. Britain was never as thoroughly conquered as traditional historians would have us believe, according to Professor Michael E. Jones. To explain why this was true, Professor Jones offers a lucid and thorough analysis of the economic, social, military, and environmental problems that contributed to the failure of the Romans. Jones disputes the theory that the Anglo-Saxon invasions were the determining agent in the failure of Romanitas. Click here to listen to our interview with Professor Michael E. Jones . |

| Robert Bauval - The Egypt Code. The Orion Mystery published in 1994, introduced the world to a highly original, and now internationally famous, star-correlation theory about the Giza Pyramids in Egypt, and sent a huge shock-wave of controversy throughout the scientific community, the effects of which are still felt today. The Egypt Code not only develops this pyramid-stars correlation, but also reveals an amazing "Grand Unified Plan", which involves the wonderful temple of Upper Egypt. The Egypt Code is unlike any other book before it and covers the whole of Egypt's ancient civilization in a manner never before attempted. Much has been written as to how the Egyptians might have aligned their monuments with such high precision, but the question that has always remained unanswered is why did the ancients put so much emphasis on astronomical alignments? And what could be the function, practical or symbolic, behind these mysterious alignments? Click here to listen to our interview with Robert Bauval . |

| Professor James Tabor - The Jesus Dynasty. Professor James Tabor has studied the earliest surviving documents of Christianity for more than thirty years and has participated in important archeological excavations in Israel. Drawing on this background, Tabor reconstructs for us the movement that sought the spiritual, social, and political redemption of the Jews, a movement led by one family. The Jesus Dynasty offers an alternative version of Christian origins, one that takes us closer than ever to Jesus and his family and followers. The story is surprising and controversial, but exciting as only a long-lost history can be when it is at last recovered. This is a book that will change our understanding of one of the most crucial moments in history. Click here to listen to our interview with Professor James Tabor . |

It caused a sensation at the 2005 Frankfurt book fair and was sold on a partial manuscript by Michael's agent Carole Blake at Blake Friedmann in London. It will appear in 25 languages between autumn 2006 and summer 2007. Michael White: "With Equinox I tried to bring in lots of different threads. There are two story lines. One is set in the present day which is a relatively conventional crime mystery, and then it switches back into the 17'Th century and involves Isaac Newton who is actually involved in an occult group which is also involved in the present day.
